Hi folks!

We are looking for two new members of the Rogue Team, one full-time Piercer and one part-time Counter Staff.

Rogue is a high-quality piercing studio in the heart of Nottingham, and we pride ourselves on working to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, quality of piercing and client services.

Full Time Piercer

Salary- To be discussed 

Location – Rogue Piercing, 6 Bridlesmith Walk NG1 2HA

Hours: 9.30am-5.30pm, four days a week. 

Rogue Piercing is a luxury piercing studio in the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market. We specialise in all forms of body piercing, including ears, facial, body and intimate piercings. As a high-end studio, we work to the highest levels of hygiene and safety. We are looking for a full-time piercer to join our growing team.

Role and responsibilities:

This role involves:

  • Working as a team to the highest levels of quality and client service. 
  • Offering a wide range of piercing services with high-end jewellery.
  • Safely sterilising jewellery and tools.
  • Making sales from our collection of fine body jewellery.
  • Providing aftercare speeches and advice to clients prior to their piercing.
  • Cleaning the studio to ensure that hygiene is met to the highest degree.
  • Opening and closing the studio as part of a larger team. 
  • Doing any other reasonable tasks when directed to.

Key requirements:

We are looking for a confident and energetic person with a passion to learn. You should be able to happily follow direction and absorb information. 

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with discussing all parts of the body and their relevant piercings with the client, and who will provide a calm and educational experience for them. 

Top candidates will have strong IT skills, including excel and other software. 

Pay will be related to your skill level and the range of piercing services you can provide.

Training and Paperwork:

Rogue will be responsible for paying for your Nottingham City Council License and PI and PL Insurances.

If successful in your application and probation period, you will be required to complete the following certifications:

  • First Aid training including CPR
  • OSHA/APP Bloodborne Pathogens training
  • WHO Covid-19 Infection Prevention and Control
  • WHO Covid-19: How to put on and remove PPE

Top candidates may already have received this training, and have in-date certification.

Part-Time Counterstaff

Salary- £8.91 per hour. National living wage. 

Location – Rogue Piercing, 6 Bridlesmith Walk NG1 2HA

Hours: 9.30am-5.30pm, two days a week. Days can be negotiable.

Rogue Piercing is a luxury piercing studio in the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market. We specialise in all forms of body piercing, including ears, facial, body and intimate piercings. As a high-end studio, we work to the highest levels of hygiene and safety. We are looking for a part-time counterstaff to assist on our busiest days who will work directly underneath our Jewellery Manager.

We must stress that this job will not lead to a piercing or tattoo apprenticeship, nor will you be piercing clients at any point. 

Role and responsibilities:

This role involves:

  • Working as a team to the highest levels of quality and client service. 
  • Answering the phone, ensuring all calls are dealt with in accordance with studio policy standards.
  • Responding to email queries in accordance with studio quality standards.
  • Managing the calendars of our piercers and artists when necessary.
  • Making sales from our collection of fine body jewellery.
  • Providing aftercare speeches and advice to clients prior to their piercing.
  • Cleaning the studio to ensure that hygiene is met to the highest degree.
  • Opening and closing the studio as part of a larger team. 
  • Doing any other reasonable tasks when directed to.

Key requirements:

We are looking for a confident and energetic person with a passion to learn. Experience with piercing studios and high-quality jewellery is preferred, but you will be provided with education on all parts of the piercing industry as part of your training. You should be able to happily follow direction and absorb information. Candidates should understand that piercing is as much a way of life as a job. 

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with discussing all parts of the body and their relevant piercings with the client, and who will provide a calm and educational experience for them. 

There are no qualifications required for this job, however strong skills in English and Maths are necessary.

Top candidates will have strong IT skills, including excel and other software.

Training:
